MaxBlogPress Unblockable Popup (MUP, for short) is a professionally designed popup plugin for WordPress. You can style the appearance of the popup in several ways. But here’s one example:

You can change the appearance of the popup, set how often it is displayed, change its position, and even choose special effects.
One interesting feature MUP has is the ability to show popups in posts belonging to certain WordPress categories only.
MUP’s compatibility with email marketing service providers isn’t well documented. You can, however, display HTML forms in the popup. In the screenshot above, I pasted GetResponse‘s default web form embed code and it worked fine. The layout can be improved with CSS.
