The Accepted Payment Methods of WordPress Shopping Cart Plugins

Each shopping cart plugin has its own list of supported payment methods. Before settling on a plugin, you need to know whether it supports your preferred methods. Check out the information below for that.

Shopp

Without any paid add-ons, Shopp supports PayPal Express, PayPal Standard, Google Checkout, 2Checkout, and offline payments (phone, check, etc).

The following payment gateways are also available for an additional $25 for each one: Authorize.Net, CyberSource, eWay, Beanstream, FirstData, HSBC, iDEAL, Merchant Warrior, PayPal Payflow Pro, PayPal Pro, Payson, and Sage Pay.

Shopp

Shopp supports the following payment gateways out of the box: PayPal Express, PayPal Standard, Google Checkout, 2Checkout, and offline payments (phone, check, etc).

Additional payment gateways are also available for $25 each: Authorize.Net, CyberSource, eWay, Beanstream, FirstData, and more.

Cart66

Cart66 supports PayPal Website Payments Pro, PayPal Website Payments Standard, PayPal Express, Authorize.Net, Quantum Gateway, and Eprocessing Network.

GetShopped (WP e-Commerce)

On installation GetShopped provides the following payments gateways:

a. ChronoPay
b. Google Checkout
c. PayPal Express Checkout 2.0
d. PayPal Payments Standard 2.0
e. PayPal Pro 2.0

Other payment gateways besides the above which can be purchased are listed below, but I think most people will be happy with the ones provided above:

a. Stripe
b. DPS PXPay

eShop

eShop works with PayPal Express, Payson, iDeal Lite, eProcessingNetwork, cash, wire transfer, Webtopay, Authorize.Net, and ogone.

MarketPress

MarketPress currently supports the following payment gateways: 2Checkout, Authorize.Net, MoneyBookers, and PayPal Express. You can also accept manual payments, such as cash, telephone, check, or wire transfer.

Tribulant Shopping Cart

Tribulant Shopping Cart has integration for eWay, Authorize.Net, PayPal (Website Payments Standard), 2Checkout, MoneyBookers, Google Checkout, FirstData, Realex, Payments, eMatters, Euro Payment Services S.R.L., and Ogone.

Market Theme

Market Theme allows you to accept payments with PayPal Standard, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, or manually.

YAK

YAK supports PayPal Standard, PayPal Pro, Authorize.Net, and Google Checkout.

ShopperPress

ShopperPress provides merchants with a long list of accepted payment methods: PayPal Standard, PayPal Pro, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, WorldPay, Protx/SegPay, CC Avenue, AlertPay, eWay (UK, NZ, API), 2Checkout, PayFast, PayWeb, NoChex, ePay, Realex, MoneyBookers, MonsterPay, Setcom, PayTrace, and manual bank transfer.

DukaPress

With DukaPress you can accept the following forms of payment: PayPal Express, Authorize.Net, WorldPay, AlertPay, Bank transfer in advance, Cash at store, and Mobile payment.

wpStoreCart

wpStoreCart supports PayPal. If you want more payment gateways, you have to purchase a $10 add-on, which will give you access to Authorize.Net and 2Checkout. It does not support recurring billing through PayPal.

Templatic Ecommerce

Templatic Ecommerce has the following methods of payment: PayPal Standard, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, WorldPay, 2Checkout, bank transfer, and cash on delivery.

Jigoshop

As with many other shopping cart, Jigoshop supports the following payment gateways right out of the box and are included free with Jigoshop:

a. Bank Transfer
b. Cheque Payment
c. DIBS FlexWin
d. PayPal standard
e. Skrill (Moneybookers)

Additional payment gateways available as 3rd party extensions for purchase include the following and many more will be available as developers create more extensions:

a. Stripe
b. Google Checkout
c. Authorize.net
d. Sage Pay Direct
e. Payson

Product refund facility is available, although it will differ with the payment method selected.

Zingiri Web Shop

Zingiri Web Shop comes with a variety of payment options, including PayPal and Google Checkout as shown below. You can also add your own payment methods. Although most probably you will work with PayPal or Google Checkout.

TheCartPress

As with many other shopping carts, TheCartPress also supports the following payment gateways right out of the box but the support is not that comprehensive as some other plugins like Jigoshop.

• Authorize.Net

Additional payment gateways are available as 3rd party extensions for purchase, which include the following:

As with many other shopping carts, WP Online Store also supports the following payment gateways right out of the box.

• PayPal Express Checkout
• Cash on Delivery

Around 40 additional payment gateways are available in one module for purchase, which among others includes the following:

• 2Checkout
• Sage Pay Direct
• Intuit / Quickbooks
