The difference between a successful Amazon associate store and one that gets no traffic is the quality of content, uniqueness, and its search engine optimization. If you are a WordPress user, you know that WordPress can help you with all of these aspects. But if you’re determined to try alternatives that minimize (or even eliminate) the need for WordPress in your Amazon Associate marketing, you can check out the solutions below:
Associate-O-Matic
Associate-O-Matic is a standalone script that can be installed on any web server. It doesn’t require that you have WordPress installed or anything like that, even though you can use it with WordPress if you like. Associate-O-Matic helps you create full Amazon stores with a lot of products in minutes. You can sign up for the Lite version for free and upgrade later to the full version, if you like it. Add Amazon aStore to WordPress
It is possible to configure an Amazon aStore in the Amazon Associates Central and then simply embed the entire store in a WordPress page.
If you’re having trouble embedding the aStore’s iFrame code in WordPress, consider using one of these plugins: TSL iframe unfilter or Embed Iframe.
Keep in mind that an embedded Amazon aStore has severe search engine limitations. It won’t rank high in search engine results pages, so it is only useful as part of a community website where you already have a lot of traffic.
Just Use Amazon Widgets
Amazon widgets are powerful and very flexible. I have written a complete guide on inserting any Amazon widget in WordPress. These widgets can be inserted in any page, post or the sidebar of WordPress. You can even insert them between posts or on the homepage of your website by modifying template files.
